The Golden Chamber

The legend of Saint Ursula and her companions shapes the church to this day. Its most famous room is the Baroque Golden Chamber, whose walls are covered with relics, busts and ornaments artfully arranged from bones – a unique and striking testimony to Baroque piety. The medieval Clematius inscription points to the early veneration of the "holy virgins".
