Rheinboulevard

A wide riverside staircase and promenade on the right bank of the Rhine in Deutz — with one of the finest views of Cologne's old town and cathedral.

The Rheinboulevard is a roughly 500-metre riverside promenade with a broad stepped seating staircase on the right bank of the Rhine in the Deutz district, directly opposite Cologne's old town.

Archaeology underground

During construction, extensive remains of Roman Cologne came to light, including walls and harbour structures of the former riverbank. The finds were documented and parts of the Roman history have been made visible on site.
