From Workshop to Concert Hall

The hall went up in 1899, when machines rather than music filled it: it served Trefil Europe Engineering as a mechanical engineering workshop. That industrial chapter ran for almost a century before the building changed course in December 1998 and opened its doors to concerts.

Two Venues, One Operator

The Palladium does not stand alone. Its operator, Köln Event Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH, also runs the neighbouring E-Werk, so the two concert spaces sit side by side under shared management.
