The Exhibition

The collection spans Schumacher's entire career: from the karts of his early days and sports cars to a large share of his Formula 1 machines. Trophies and personal keepsakes round out the display, offering a glimpse behind his racing career. Two additional cars from his career – a 1991 Sauber-Mercedes C291 and a 2010 Mercedes-AMG F1 show car – are contributed by the Mercedes-Benz Museum.

Formula 1 Cars

At its heart is a line-up of original grand prix cars. It opens with the Jordan 191, in which Schumacher made his Formula 1 debut in 1991, followed by the Benetton models of the early 1990s – among them the B194 that carried him to his first world title in 1994. From his Ferrari era, several cars built between 1996 and 2004 stand side by side, joined by a Mercedes GPW01 from 2010. A digital model of the 2006 Ferrari 248 F1 can also be examined.

Further Exhibits

Alongside the Formula 1 cars, the earlier stages of his rise are on show: a kart, a Formula 3 car and a Formula Ford car. One curiosity is a Fiat 500 that Ferrari once gave the driver as a gift. Rounding things out are more than 20 original helmets, racing overalls and over 40 trophies from his career.
