St. Thomas More
Catholic church in Cologne-Lindenthal from 1962/63, whose tower's rising folded spire defines the local skyline.
The design came from Cologne architect Fritz Schaller; the church takes its name from Thomas More.

Architecture
A steep gabled roof rises above the square nave, resembling a large tent-like gable. A folded spire forms the tower, growing straight up from the ground and linked to the rest of the building by a single-storey wing; it is this tower that defines the surrounding streetscape. Inside, the building is divided into a weekday chapel and the main nave. A broad gable window depicts a triangle as a symbol of the Trinity.
Furnishings
Elmar Hillebrand created both altars as well as the tabernacle and baptismal font. The ground floor of the tower houses a Marian chapel, home to an early Gothic Madonna statue.
Organ and Bells
Johannes Klais Orgelbau built the organ in 1966, which underwent restoration in 2017. Four bronze bells hang in the tower, cast in 1969 by Hans Hüesker at the Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock bell foundry in Gescher.
Extension
An octagonal parish hall was added in 1984, designed by Klaus J. Küpper.
