History

The name traces back to Arnold Conzen, who lived on the property as a tenant farmer around 1650. The farm remained in operation as a manor estate until 1948. The building's wall anchors bear the date 1741.

From Farm to Residential Estate

Starting in 1990, the farm grounds were redeveloped. In keeping with the historic structure, 15 houses and 18 condominiums were built in a country-house style, occupied from autumn 1991 onward. Of the former manor house, only the outer walls survive, while the interior and roof were rebuilt in a modern style.

Heritage Protection

Since 1 July 1980, the estate has been listed under number 395 in the register of historic monuments for the Bocklemünd/Mengenich district.
