Activities

The lake is one of the most important on the Villeseenplatte thanks to its wide range of uses. The water is shared between four user groups: swimmers, the Liblar Angling Club, the Ville Sailing Club, and the Liblar Water Sports Friends for canoeists. Forest and hiking trails encircle the lake. On the northern shore there is an open-air pool (open in summer only) and a year-round campsite. In summer especially, the lake draws visitors from Cologne and the Rhine-Erft district.
