Bocklemünd/Mengenich
Part of borough Ehrenfeld
Bocklemünd/Mengenich sits on the north-western edge of Cologne and belongs to the Ehrenfeld borough. The district grew out of the two formerly separate villages of Bocklemünd and Mengenich, which merged over time and were administratively combined in 1950. Today it is best known for the WDR's large production facilities.
