The Gym and Its Areas
In addition to the climbing routes, the gym features a 350 m² bouldering area as well as around 6–8 slightly overhanging routes equipped with auto-belay devices, starting from difficulty grade 5. After a brief induction, climbers aged 18 and over may use the auto-belay stations without a belay partner. There are 40 parking spaces directly at the gym.
Entry and Belay Rules
Bouldering requires no prior experience, but roped climbing comes with a mandatory proof of correct belaying technique. First-time visitors are checked at the entrance for their ability to tie knots and handle a belay device. Those without the necessary skills can join a taster session (1–2 hours, belayed by an instructor) or a beginner's course limited to 6 participants. Private belay instruction by fellow climbers is not permitted. Pre-registration before your first visit is recommended.
Courses, Kids and Refreshments
The course programme ranges from beginner and technique classes to lead-climbing courses and a weekly guided climbing meet-up. For children, the gym offers birthday packages, school programmes, Climbaroo kids' courses and a holiday camp. The bistro serves drinks, snacks, pizza, tarte flambée and soups; guests are also welcome to bring their own food. Climbing shoes, harnesses, ropes, belay devices and chalk bags are all available to hire on site.
