Pools & facilities
At the heart of the pool is the 25-metre basin, which offers plenty of room for lap swimming. Anyone after a leap into the water will find a 1-metre and a 3-metre diving board. Massage jets and a cascade shower add a moment of wellness in between.
For families
There is a separate children's paddling pool for the little ones. In the teaching pool, beginners learn to swim in shallower, calm water – ideal for first strokes and swimming courses.
Accessibility
Wahnbad is comprehensively equipped for visitors with disabilities: the pool area is step-free, and there is an accessible WC, an accessible shower, a specially fitted changing room and a shower wheelchair. A hoist lift, however, is not available on site. No prior registration is needed for a visit by wheelchair; a preliminary visit to get to know the layout is recommended.
Location & getting there
The pool is at Albert-Schweitzer-Straße 8 in 51147 Cologne, in the east of the city (Porz district). A limited number of free parking spaces is available for those arriving by car. Admission and the cash desk close one hour before the end of operations.
