Mauenheim

Part of borough Nippes

With around 5,600 residents on just under 49 hectares, Mauenheim is the smallest district in Cologne by area. It belongs to the left-bank borough of Nippes and sits tucked between the Nordfriedhof cemetery, Neusser Straße and the Mauenheimer Gürtel. Weidenpesch borders it to the east and north and Nippes to the south, while to the west the Cologne–Neuss–Krefeld railway line marks the edge toward Bilderstöckchen.
