A 103 m tower in Deutz with an observation deck – panoramic views over the Rhine, the Old Town and the cathedral.

Shape & name

The name derives from its triangular floor plan with curved edges – similar to a Reuleaux triangle.

Role in the heritage debate

During construction the tower prompted UNESCO to place Cologne Cathedral on the List of World Heritage in Danger. As a result, the high-rise concept for Köln-Deutz was revised.
