At a glance

  • Size: 13.9 hectares
  • Created: 1910–1914 by Fritz Encke
  • Location: Zollstock / Raderberg / Raderthal
  • Character: a soft, landscape counterpoint to the strict Blücherpark

Space and calm in the south

Unlike the strictly geometric Blücherpark, the Vorgebirgspark is shaped in soft, landscape forms. Wide lawns, old groups of trees and a collection of sculptures invite long walks. A quiet, green recreation area away from the main tourist flows.
