From cinema to cult venue

Opened as a cinema in 1956, the Gloria was converted into an event venue in 1991 and fully refurbished from 2000. Today it hosts rock and pop concerts, comedy series such as NightWash, plays like Caveman, festivals like Sommerblut and TV recordings. Display cases, the ticket booth and red velvet still recall its cinema past.
