From potters' quarter to windmill
The name goes back to the "Ulner" (potters), who practised their fire-prone craft in this then sparsely settled area. A small windmill now sits on the surviving wall, giving the site a picturesque appearance. The Ulrepforte is today also known as a stop on tram lines 15 and 16.
