The legend of Richmodis
According to legend, Richmodis von Aducht was believed dead and buried, but revived. When her husband refused to believe she was alive, he cried that his horses would sooner climb to the upper floor – whereupon the animals did exactly that. To this day the two horses' heads look out from the Richmodis tower, keeping the story alive.
