Gamer Cologne – The Game Show

The game selection ranges from physically active formats – such as throwing balls into lit-up baskets or racing to step on numbers on the floor – to knowledge and logic challenges like quiz rounds and puzzle-solving. Other games put your skill to the test: guiding a ball through a maze, flicking dice onto target squares, or pulling levers at exactly the right moment. If there's a particular game someone doesn't want to play, they can simply exclude it on their smartphone before the show begins.

After a personal welcome, each participant creates an account on their smartphone; up to three players can share a single device. The group splits into equally sized teams – you only ever compete within your own group, never against strangers. During the tournament, every player is automatically assigned a game and an opponent; after each duel, both move on. A live ranking for all teams and games is visible throughout. At the end, the team with the most duel wins takes the trophy; in the event of a tie, overall performance across the games decides it.
