Football with tradition

On the former fortress grounds on the western edge of the city, a large sports park was created on the initiative of Konrad Adenauer. Today's stadium, crowned by four characteristic pylons, holds around 50,000 fans and on match days experiences all the passion of the "Effzeh". Embedded in the green belt, it is part of an extensive sports complex.
